Let's Look Closer: Where I Live

The Informal Education initiative developed by KIZİSTANBUL is joining the "Come and See Me: Where I Live" project, carried out in partnership with Rotterdam Wereldmuseum, under the "2018 Young Culture Program" supported by the Netherlands this year.

In these workshops children living in Istanbul and Rotterdam reflect and share their observations about the place/region they live in. They then, as if with the eyes of a city planner, are taught to redesign their living landscapes, considering the needs, desires and expectations of the people that live there. These designs, from the children in both Rotterdam and Istanbul, will be shared at the project’s end and evaluated by the project’s partners.

Studio-X will host a total of 4 of these workshops in Istanbul.
