Selva is at Start with Children in Bratislava

Selva Gürdoğan joins the panel LSE Urban95 Academy: Executive Education for Systems Change at Start with Children, the international summit on child-friendly cities held in Bratislava. She speaks alongside Victoria Chavez of the Van Leer Foundation and Sandra Štasselová of the Metropolitan Institute of Bratislava, in the Lab.cafe programme on the afternoon of Tuesday 28 May.

The summit is organised by the City of Bratislava and the Metropolitan Institute of Bratislava, and runs across two days at the Old Market Hall. More than thirty mayors, architects, planners and advocates set out the case for planning cities around the needs of children, through keynotes, panels, workshops and tours of the historic centre.

Superpool's contribution draws on five years of work on Urban95 Istanbul, the Van Leer Foundation programme that puts the perspective of a ninety-five-centimetre-tall child at the centre of how a city is planned, designed and run.
