Looking at the city from 95 cm — Istanbul95 on Şehir Hepimizin
Beyza Gürdoğan joined Yiğit Aksakoğlu of the Bernard van Leer Foundation on Şehir Hepimizin to talk about Istanbul95 and what the city looks like to its youngest residents.
Ninety-five centimetres is roughly the eye height of a three-year-old. It is also the vantage point behind Istanbul95, the programme that asks what the city looks like, and how it could work better, for babies, toddlers and the people who care for them.
On 18 November 2019, Beyza Gürdoğan of Superpool and Yiğit Aksakoğlu of the Bernard van Leer Foundation were Yağmur Yıldırım's guests on episode 149 of Şehir Hepimizin, the urban affairs programme produced by İstanbul Hepimizin for Medyascope. Superpool and the foundation spoke as two of the programme's partners, under the title "Kente 95 cm'den bakmak": looking at the city from 95 cm.
