Selva Gürdoğan on Açık Radyo: İstanbul95 and the Play in the City conference
Selva Gürdoğan joined Yiğit Aksakoğlu of the Bernard van Leer Foundation on Açık Mimarlık, Yağmur Yıldırım's architecture programme on Açık Radyo, to discuss İstanbul95 — the programme that asks what the city looks like from 95 centimetres off the ground, the eye level of a three-year-old.
The conversation previewed the Şehirde Oyun (Play in the City) Conference, held the following week, and set out how designing for the youngest residents and their caregivers changes what a street, a park or a public building is asked to do.
