The SUPERPOOL-designed learning and interaction space IKSV Alt Kat opens today. The project is made possible by contributions from Istanbul Development Agency, Ministry of Industry and Technology, Bernard van Leer Foundation, BCE, ERSA, INTEMA, Vitra and SUPERPOOL and the amazing dedicated people at IKSV.

The main feature of the multipurpose space is the undulating glass piece dubbed "Flare". Sponsor and glass producer BCE Glass challenged our team to design a piece of bend glass that was worthy of their sponsorship: "We will sponsor the manufacturing of the glass only if it is challenging enough", owner Erhan Özcan told us a year ago.
