Kompass Badhus | Through out the world bathing facilities has always had an important role in the society. The ambition of the Kompass proposal is to infuse the Scandinavian badhus with the Asian and Mediterranean bathing amenities and philosophies thereby creating a multitude of new experiences.
From the gallery three options is available to the visitor: Badhus, Wellness Center and Cafeteria & Restaurant. Visiting the Kompass Badhus ones the visitor is through the cleaning area an array of options presents itself. From the central pool area easy access can be gained to the saunas, fitness centre, the 3 indoor and 2 outdoor pools and the relaxation area. As a visitor to the Wellness centre one has a more private and relaxed experience with its own sauna, spa’s, steam bath and bubble pools. Visitors to the Cafeteria and Restaurant gain access to a space that offers view over the entire bath as well as over Hudiksvalls harbour.
The Kompass Badhus is a significant addition to the city of Hudiksvall and is of great importance. It is chance to offer the citizens of the kommun a place that has no comparison.
