Çamlıca House | Two families would like to share a plot on Çamlıca, the highest hill in Istanbul with extensive views. However, because of its visibility from all around the city, Çamlıca has very strict zoning laws which dictate a single building only.
To allow for equal exposure to the views for the two families, the proposal needs to surpass the typical twin villa planning. Instead the plan is flipped on each floor; resulting with two interlocking villas. | | Team: Selva Gürdoğan, Gregers Tang Thomsen, Marta Marszal Type: Commission Size: 432 m2 Client: Darbaz Yapi Collaborators: YDKStudio Location: Istanbul, Turkey Status: On hold |
